beatty married beaty

Looking for any information on Robert Beatty who married Elizabeth Hagen in 1830, they had son William born 1833 in Ireland, he married Rhoda Beaty(born1831 in Ireland) in 1853, William died 1883 and ws a shoemaker, they must have come to Australia at some time one of their children (William, born 1856 in Redfern NSW Australia) had his surname spelt Beattie.  Anyone with any more information I can follow up on?

Griffiths Valuation of Ireland http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php is a useful starting point for researching Irish Surnames. You may not know the county so I suggest you use the search All option.
