Inverness Prison Records

I have an ancestor who was moved from Elgin Prison to Inverness Prison in 1821.  He was sentenced to 7 years transportation.  I can't find any record of him after 1821.  If I could find the Prison Records for Inverness it may say where he was transported to or even the port he sailed from.  Any help would be great.
