Barrow's of Hassal - Sandbach
« on: Sunday 09 October 05 20:45 BST (UK) »
hi all,
My G grandfather was a Wainwright born out of welock. his mother Louisa married a Thomas Barrow in 1871 3 months after the birth. They went on to have 12 children that i know of. The girls married a Burgess, Bagnall, Stubbs Hough and jones [/color] between 1898 and 1917. The boys married a Goodier, Handcock, Marsland (2 brothers married 2 sisters in Crewe) and Barker. Apart from the Crewe ones the rest were married in either Congleton civil or around the Sandbach area.
Has anyone got these names in their tree to help me further Please?

If you don't already know the area hh - thought you might like to see a photo of the Saxon Crosses at Sandbach, and Hassall Green Tea Shop, by the Canal Lock.  Had many a nice lunch there.

hi Moys,

Sorry should have deleted Burgess. Name came into the frame but could not establish connection with Wainwright/Barrow
