Hi Did you want some info on Eliza R/J Bowers who M Harry  :)  We have spoken about Bowers before, but Eliza is even closer to me. ;D

Any information is always gratefully received.  ;) I haven't forgotten my promise to send you some more detailed information from my research.  With Christmas and a 3 year old to run after, computer time is somewhat limited at the moment.

Hi Alison.

I'm an Underwood with family from Cavendish and surrounding area (but not Hadleigh as far as I know). I did a bit of a trawl for Underwoods through the 1851 census for that part of Suffolk a while back and sorted the data into a spreadsheet. There are some Hadleigh Underwoods included. Don't know if it would help at all but you are welcome to a copy if you can let me have an email address (or maybe tell me how I can send it via this site since I'm new here).

My mother was a Baker and I've recently been following a possible line through Albert Edward Baker (b1871, marr Elizabeth Garside, Newcastle 1896) Albert came from Sweffling, Suffolk. His father was Charles (b1838) who married Maria Woodard (b1842) m 1859. His father was James Baker (b Rendham, b1801) who married Elizabeth Goodwin (b 1799) m 1828, sweffling.
