  Thank you both so much for your help. It will take me a while to get my head round this all. I remeber my Great Aunt Ada (Berties Sister). I know my father used to tell me that when he was small he used to go to the pub that they had in Worcester. I also met an Aunt Ethel who I dont think was from the Allen side of the family. She was married to Uncle Elf and they lived in a 2 up 2 down next to Fownes (the glove factory). In the UK I have kept a pair of gloves made by this factory. We went on a trip round the factory in the evening after it was shut as he was the caretaker.
Thank you for your help again. I have printed all the replies off so that I have the info on the web sites.
