The incomplete Oxfordshire Baptism Index (http://searches.oxfordshirefhs.org.uk/) has :-

Elizabeth GALE, daughter of William & Sarah, baptised at Wantage in 1850.

The only snag is that Wantage is now in Oxfordshire, but was in Berkshire in 1850. Is that your ancestor ? Alternatively, she might have been baptised :-

1. after 1851 which is when the Oxfordshire Baptism Index ends.

2. in a parish that has not yet been added to the index - it is about 75 per cent complete.

Have you made a connection with the family in Joe's post of 22nd October - 1871 census, Wantage?

I ask because this is my GALE family.

BTW I read the location Lindons Field Cottage as Trinders Field Cottage.  I researched Trinders Field and believe this to be correct.
