Thank you both so much for your help and your time.  You have given me a lot of information, more than I ever thought I would receive.

It is truly amazing and I cannot express in words how much I appreciate this.

Again, many, many, thanks!!!!

Hi there,

You will find that the Aquatash Inn is actually the Aqueduct Inn, Froncysllte. It is situated on the main A5 road in the middle of the village, not a million miles from the famous aqueduct. It is stilla pub today.

Best of luck....  :)

Thank you Llwyd for the information.  It is really nice to know the place that my Aunt worked in 1871 is still up and running.

Thanks so much for the location.  I shall try and locate it on a map.

Thank you for your kindness!

Sincerely;
Cas

Dear Cas

Now I have access to the 1851 census I thought I would revisit your enquiry.
In Penycraig , Cysyllte , Llangollen I find
David 29 now born in Llangynog.
Elizabeth 29,
Amelia 'Griffiths' (??) daughter in law (??) age 5
Edward age 2 and Robert age 8 mos.

I would guess possibily an error for Amelia but as there are 2 discrepancies maybe Elizabeth was married previously and they meant to put step daughter.

Good luck

Sure wish I had found you 5 years ago, when this venture of mine turned out to be nothing but road blocks.

I appreciate your kindness and your help, very much.
