How would I find out about the birth or christening of my 2nd great grandfather. His name was Thomas Newman Butler and according to the census records he was born in Islington. I don't know the names of his parents as his marriage was in 1835 and the parish record (St Lukes Old Street Finsbury) didn't give fathers names. The IGI doesn't seem to have him there are some Thomas Butlers but no Thomas Newman Butler. I am in Australia so cannot go to record office, has anyone got any ideas?        Jabawak
