where is William Martin prior to 1871??

WILLIAM MARTIN 
1901 Wales born c 1843 Lydbrook with wife Jane (nee Jones) and family living West Dean
1891 England  born Coleford c 1847 with wife and family living West Dean
1881 England born Lydbrook c 1846 with wife and family living Upper Lydbrook
1871 England recorded as Marton born Coleford c 1846 with wife and dau in West Dean

1861 cannot find anywhere and no trace of birth.
Have marriage cert. June 20th 1869 St John's Church, Dean Forest.  Father William COOPER, fireman.Married Mary Jane Jones father George Jones Mariner.
Please can anyone find him prior to 1871. Jenny

Could be him could't it? Date of birth only a couple of years out. I kind of hoped he'd be with parents although father has a different name?
