Can someone remove the creases and scribbles

I have tried unsuccessfully to remove the scribbles and creases from the attached photograph of my grandfather and children. I would be pleased if someone with more skills than I would have a go.

I'll get round to doing a version at somepoint Sue. Looks like this is yet another case of "bored child" left in charge of a pen.

Hi Devon,
  Could you rescan your photo in colour as this will allow us to isolate the different RGB channels. The pencil marks may bey easier to eliminate on one of the color channels.
