DONT KNOW WHERE THE MILL IS ITSELF .
LLANFABON IS THE MOUNTAINSIDE BETWEEN CILFYNYDD , PONTYPRIDD AND NELSON.

TRY THIS SITE OF OLD MAPS WHICH MAY BE OF INTEREST.

THE GRAVEYARD IS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD BETWEEN ABERCYNON A470 ROUNDABOUT AND THE PLACE CALLED FIDDLERS ELBOW IN ABERCYNON.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.

Hello totally lost,
thanks for the message about the mill,i have lived in nelson for about 40 years and am still finding out things that are interesting about the village and the surrounding areas.
The photo site brought back some memories and you dont realise how the place where you live changes slow enough that you forget the changes.
regards

Hi again totally lost,
Ihave just been on old maps looking at llanfabon road and i just cannot figure out where that mill could have been?
at first i thought of the old fiddlers elbow bridge before they built the bridge from the A470 and have followed it up to nelson with no luck.
I can see a visit to the library in the morning
thanks again
