I just figured out how to do this ..... (after a year!!) this is cool!
The lady at the back is the faintest and she's the relation!!

That is wonderfull..and a Lovely Photograph too.. I haven't got any of My Grt Grandparents  :'( but i love seening Photographs of other peoples..

Damb sripes, their a real pain. I masked off the faces and then ran neat image.

Yes those vertical stripes. I'm not sure haw they were generated.

So the stripes is on the original photo? Was it from the way it was stored in the album or is it n textured paper?

I only got it 2 days ago - so I don't know how it was stored!
I THOUGHT it was just in a shoe box with a load of other photos!!

If it's the original photo it sure is strange. I don't think I've seen this as a deliberate photographic  effect on any photo from this period.
