Baptism record in Cranborne

Hello List,
I am looking for a birth record of my GGG grandmother, Ann Waters.  She was born about 1813, but three different census says she was born in three different places.  The 1891 census, a year before she died, says she was born in Cranborne, Dorset.  Can anybody help me solve this mystery?

Hi Karenn,
I have had a look at the BRVI (incomplete) for you, the only Ann Waters in Dorset around that time is below but not in Cranborne I'm afraid, it is also one of the rare entries with no parents listed!
If I can do any other look-ups for you let me know.

Just my luck! Thanks anyway Frances. In another census, her birth was supposed to be in 'Mountain' near Cranborne. Ever heard of this place?

I'm sorry I cannot help you on Mountain. I have looked at some map indexes without any luck. Hopefully someone who knows the area well will read this and be able to solve your question.
