I saw the hand straightaway and thought at first there was a cushion to the right of Gt.Grandpa but now I think it is a dress with ruffle  ( a young woman with her arm around the old fellow. )
Also behind Gt.Grandma there appears to be a picture - It looks to me like a teddy-bear with a bonnet but I don't suppose it is !

The Face, I believe is a Dolls head and probably was in the back of picture when taken.

What a lot of fun this has been!!  I can see the hand
and it would appear to be that of the person sitting on grandpa's left.  The rest is anyone's guess!  Being of practical mind I'd say it is a ruffle on the lady's dress, but then again, maybe grandma is nursing a small child??
