  I moved your message as it would have started a duplicate thread.

I tried to run the refocus filter but To get it to sharpen up more It starts to speckle.

Sandie wants us to find out the regiment from the uniform - but it's pretty hard the way it is - I thought maybe - you Deadants - with your magic fingers could give us a  miracle!!

Oh boy, With a standard army tunic, finding out what regiment he was in is a tall order. I take it he was in the British army. If he was an Aussie it would be a piece of cake. The Australian War Memorial has all the records for all Australians who have been in the armed forces since the Boer War.

I can't help much more I'm afraid.

I appreciate your help - it was a bit of a long shot!!
I know !- everybody elses country - has wonderful records - half of the British ones are missing - burnt etc - thats why I get so excited to get ANY information !!
