Hi,
I'm after information on William Cowlishaw's parents, James and Jane Elliot m. 1798 in Denby.
I have so far found Jane's line, but don't have dates for some of them. I have John Elliot b.1749 and Sarah Harrison b. 1749, Denby, Thomas Elliot b.1703 and Martha b. 1705, and Thomas Elliot and Fanny.
Can anyone check when they were born (thats going back to 1600's!!!!) or what Martha's maiden name is?
Any info on the Cowlishaw side would be great too.

Hi there,
I don't know whether I can help or not, but I do have a Mary COWLISHAW in my tree, I don't yet know when sh was born or anything about her family. She did however marry George HILL in Alfreton on 15 March 1695. They had 7 children and she died on 14 August 1728 in Alfeton. Hope this helps, and if there is a possibility we are looking at the same family, I would be delighted to hear from you. Best wishes, Martin
