It is great to have that option, I myself wont be using it though, as Man of Kent said
 

I never consider any of the images I play around with,"MY WORK" or property.

I am here to learn and if I help someone else along the way that's even better.

I will not be watermarking my poor efforts either. The original photograph is the unique starting point. We are all 'playing around' with someone else's property to start with.

I am so used, now, to ephemiral art! - I get to design and help paint the pantomime scenery every year and this year we will be painting over Mother Hubbard with Dick Turpin.

However my entirely original artwork, ie: the cartoons (in their primary sense) I do consider my property.

 There are so many comments voiced that I agree with. Kmo used one
of my efforts the other day.He stated quite clearly that he had done so.
I personally felt proud that  he considered it worthy enough to use. I
think that he adopted the correct approach & the "postee" benefited
from another picture. An all win situation.
                    If someone wants to use the watermark, Let them.
  I have no problem with any body using any of my efforts, It's just
nice if you adopt Kmo's approach, but I will not get upset if you don't.
