1841 Census of Sussex

I have now purchased the 1841 census for the whole of Sussex on 4 CD's - scans of the enumerators returns are in Adobe Acrobat format - but unfortunately there is not a street or surname index.

PBN Publications have transcribed some of the 1841 in the Eastern part of the county as listed below which I have also aquired.

PBN have tried to keep Parishes in the same Volumes (but different volume number) as those of the 1851 Census transcription done by June Barnes in the 1990's.

Please use the 'Contact Us' button in the main menu if I can help you locate your Ancestors - Remember, you must see the original and quote the full Reference No. to prove Ancestry - Information contained within Census is Crown Copyright:  www.nationalarchives.gov.uk.
