This will be the second broadcast of Wally Dewar 's band. One of the attractions of this thirteen-piece combination is Gordon Homer , a Birmingham discovery, who sings and plays the trumpet.
Wally Dewar himself was one of Haley's juveniles, and then became conductor of a touring revue at a very early age. He was with Sydney Lipton before" he had his own band.

This band first broadcast last year. It has been engaged for two years at the West End Ballroom, Birmingham, and has a long summer engagement at the Regent, Brighton. It is a thirteen-piece band and features Gordon Hamer , a Birmingham discovery, as vocalist and trumpet player.
Wally Dewar was one of the Haley's Juveniles ; he became the youngest conductor of a touring revue, and before forming his own dance band was with Sydney Lipton.
