Harry Chester
 born June 19, 1871 at Needham Market, Suffolk England
and later falsifies his age to 20 sailing from Liverpool to Canada
under Roll No. C 4514  on the Oregon bound for Halifax, Nova Scotia and Portland Maine.  Arriving on Jan. 24 1890.
 There are various stories of his travels but next he turned up in Rochester New York
Where in 1894, he married Evalyna Herfy born 1876 in Germany.
The daughter of Sabin Herfy and Katherine Hauk .

Harry & Evalyna's first son
Harry William Chester is born on Aug.4 1895 in Rochester, New York ...
The Chester's then lived at  13 Klee Park,  off Maple Street  ( might be of significance).
At an unknown date, Harry, Evalyna & son Harry W. and Evalyna's younger sister Barbara Herfy sailed back to London.
Their second son was born in 1898 and I am attempting to find details of their return.
 ( from English Passenger Records but have been unsuccessfull) . 
I would like to confirm the dates and where abouts of their marriage and birth of their son's .... If possible without spending any money.
If anyone could HELP me find this information etc... I would GREATLY APPRECIATE it.      Thank you

They are in England in the 1901 Census

I would suggest contacting the Rochester City Archives directly for the birth/marriage.

 - Sabin Herfy, stonecutter, is in the 1891 directory (some Chesters but no Harry),
1892 Sabin Herfy, 13 Klueh Park (again, no Harry),
1893 same address, Harry shows up as Harry Chester, gardener, Floral av. b. 80 Spencer,
1894, Herfy's at same address, Harry a laundryman at 102 Court bds., 80 Spencer.
1895, Sabin at same address, a Daniel Herfy (son?) 'boards 265 Smith', Harry appears to have moved in with the Herfy's at Klueh Park.
1896, Sabin at same address. Daniel disappeared (moved back in with family?), Harry disappeared.

Surely, given this data, the marriage must have been in Rochester around 1893-5, most probably 1894.

If you go back, in 1884 both Catherine (Mrs Herfy) and Sabin Herfy are listed at 9 Wagner Place, so probably Barbara was b. Rochester also.  I didn't check all the surrounding years, but it would be good to see if you could pin down the Herfy's arrival into Rochester.

http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html - I think Daniel Herfy is on the 1900 census in Rochester as "Daniel Hurly", b. Germany 1873, emigrated 1878 (newly married, wife Emma).  Sabin is there as Saben Herfi, widowed, and Barbara is listed with him - so perhaps she went to the UK seperately to visit her sister? It indicates 7 children, 3 living for Sabin (presumably Evalyna , Daniel, and Barbara living), and emigration of 1878.

www.ellisisland.org has Barbara Herfy reentering the US in 1902.  Judging from the 1920 census, she had at least one son, George Liebeck b. 1919 (SSDI shows he died in 1980).

1902 Barbara re-entered USA 24-1-02 on SS Celtic from Liverpool (Ellis Island records)
