He married Marie Lowe February 5, 1947 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Survivors include his wife of Springville, one daughter and three sons, Peggy Lee Nash, LaGrande, Oregon; Thomas Ray Barrett, Fountain Green; James Paul Barrett and Ted L. Barrett, both of Springville; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and three sisters, Ray (Bud) Barrett of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Ross (Maurine) Frandsen of Springville; Mrs. Roe (Margie) Kerby of Provo and Mary Lou Brown of Orem.
