Please Help Birth Record Edith Irene Taylor/Whitlock

Hi

I am having a nightmare locating a birth record for Edith Irene Taylor born 1914 I believe. She was adopted in 1914 as a Whitlock and was reregistered as Edith Irene Taylor. I think she was born is Sussex or Surrey.  ??? I have spent many hours on ancestry looking for the record to no avail.

The aforementioned elusive record is driving me crazy  >:(

If you are able to assist me in anyway, you help will be greatly appreciated.

There are five registrations for EDITH I TAYLOR on FindMyPast, have you considered any of these?

1912    Hollingbourne, Kent
1912    Hastings, Sussex
1914    Croydon, Surrey
1916    Newport, Shropshire
1916    Newhaven, Sussex

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.

Is there a Lanarkshire connection with this lady?
Paterson, Torrance, Gilchrist - Hamilton Lanarkshire. 
McCallum - Oban, McKechnie - Ross of Mull Argyll.
Scrim - Perthshire. 
Liddell - Polmont,
Binnie - Muiravonside Stirlingshire.
Curran, McCafferty, Stevenson, McCue - Co Donegal
Gibbons, Weldon - Co Mayo.
