I've been to Belleek, Garrison and Derrygonnelly- all small communities where I suspect everyone knew their neighbours  :)

However, I think you may be going about this search in the wrong way. If I saw a poster looking for details of relatives or local family I wouldn't be inclined to respond.

Do you know what church the family attended? It might have been Belleek as there aren't that many roads around Killybeg and the way to Belleek looks the shortest.

Anyway, many churches have weekly bulletins- ask if they would include a request along the lines of  'looking for information about the Dolan family of Killybeg..' but don't include too much about Angela. The priest is probably not from the area but the gravedigger will be (and will know lots of family connections, scandals, etc.).

Thanks for your suggestion, Aghadowey. :) I do know where the family went to church so I will try putting a notice in the weekly bulletin. It's helpful getting some advice about what to put in any notices because I've been unsure about how much information I should include.

there are other Dolan's at killy begs 1911 census most of the townland were flax seed growers for the linen industry, the farms were made up of families that in some way were related to one and other so any other name on the census for killy begs could be your relative.

The link hallmark posted earlier was for the 1911 census (not 1901 as stated). Here's the link for 1901-
