Monmouthshire / Williams Blaenafon

Can someone help? I have James Williams born Blaenafon1873 died 1945, he is the son of George Williams born Herefordshire 1829 and Mary Ann Powell born Herefordshire 1831. Can anyone help with any info on him, marriage, 1939 census.

Can someone help.? I am looking for information on electoral rolls for Arthur and Beatrice Irene Vicary living in Bulli. Beatrice and Arthur marrieds in Bulli in 1940. Arthur 17 Mar 1998 and Beatrice died 31 Oct 1998 both at Bulli. Or any information on them. Beatrice's parents were James Williams and Mary Ann (Nee Matravers) Oh! Beatrice born Dec 1919 Blaenafon Monmouthshire, Wales

I have in my tree Isaac George Williams, born Blaenafon, Monmouthshire, 1881, I have his attestation record dated25/7/02 and signs on for 6 years. Service number 7730, Attestation corp 3rd Bn S.W.B
One of the questions on the form asks "Do you belong to her Majesty's Army". His reply was "Yes! 4th 2/15 South Wales Borderers.
I am a little confused was he in the Army when attested? Can anybody give me any information on him.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I have hit a brick wall with a death.

I have Thomas James Williams born 1881 Blaenafon, Monmouthshire, Wales his father was father George Williams born 1858/59 Blaenafon Monmouthshire mother Sarah Ann Wilkins. Thomas James Williams sailed from Southampton, Hampshire to New York,USA on the SS St Louis 16 April 1904 aged 22.
On the 15 September 1906 he married Ella Wise born 22/11/1883. Dauphin county Pensylvania. In 1907 they are living on Second St Minersville Schuylkill. Pennsylvania George David Williams was born 12/7/1907. Thomas williams was born 1911 Jonestown died 1933 and sarah catherine Williams born 15th July 1914. Ella died March 27 1916
Thomas James marries his 2nd wife Mary Louisa Dash born 1883 father Edward Dash. A son Horrace born Jamestown 1919 is born to them. On the 1930 Census Mary Louiss Williams is shown with the family. However on Horrace's marriage cert ( married Jonestown) to Margaret Evely she is indexed as deceased. Can anyone tell me when Mary Louis (DASH) Williams died between 1930-1940 /

I am hoping that someone can help, as I have hit a brick wall..
I have Jesse Williams born Blaenafon 1901 (son of Thomas Williams, mother Mary Jane Richards) and his wife Maggie Thomas Williams and child Iris Williams sailed from England to Australia circa 1920/1922. I have very little on the family after this, Jessie died in 1972, no death date for Maggie. Iris married George Charles Hanson in 1942 in a place called Annandale NSW, they had a son and i have a photo their baby son but no name. I think Charles died in 1977 but no idea where. Iris died in Wyong NSW 1987. I have no more on the family apart from Jesse was a miner. i am sure there must still be family in australia.

Herefordshire Lookup Requests / George 1828-1896 and Joseph Williams

Help required. my GG Grandfather George Williams died min 1896 in Blaenafon. Monmouthshire. All the census reports show that he originally came from Clodock, Herefordshire. The information i have gleaned is that on the 6th Dec 1851 he married Mary Ann Powell, at Clodock Church, Herefordshire. George's parents were Jospeh and Mary Williams and Mary Ann parents were Thomas and Mary Powell the marriage details show they are from Crasswall, 5 miles Clodock. The 1841 census shows that Thomas, Mary and Mary Ann were living at Crasswall. George was baptised on 10th Feb 1828 at Clodock and his sister Harriot was baptised on 28th April 1830, (after this I can find no trace of Harriot Williams). Georges parents Joseph and Mary must have been very religious as the Baptisms were conducted in the Primitive Methodists Chapel , Clodock. I have found a Primitive Methodist chapel in Cresswall but not Clodock. I am trying to find more info on Joseph Birth marriage and Death.Ken

Hello. hope someone can help ? I am trying to help out my cousin..

We trying to find info on his great grandfathers family.

His grandfather was Alfred Watts born Blaenafon 1880
Alfred's parents were William Watts born 1840 Taunton Somerset, died 1898 Blaenafon his wife was Mary Spencer Melville born 1840 and also died Blaenafon, 1896.
William's parents were John and Mary Watts, but that is all we have on them. Anyone out there able to give us any info on John and Mary?
