Have hit a brick wall and can go no further - any info on the following households - head, wife, children etc. All seem to be in the areas of CAMTON or BIGGLESWADE.

1) CHARLES A. BURNAGE bc 1853 Campton, married Selina HARRIS/Ellen HEATHFIELD? poss 1885.

2) ALFRED C. BURNAGE bc 1855 Campton, possibly married in 1896 to Mary Jane CHERRY/Mary RIDER.

3) ELIZA E. BURNAGE bc 1857, Campton. Can find no info at all.

South Africa / HENWOODs in Okiep 1800's
« on: Tuesday 06 June 06 12:32 BST (UK)  »
Henwoods from Cornwall, living in Okiep late 1800s.
Can any one help me? Am trying to find the Henwood family who lived in Okiep in the late 1800's. I have very little information except the folowing: Head of the household was Captain John Henwood, originally from Cornwall. He was supposedly involved in the copper mines in Okiep. Wife: Jane Emma Henwood. Daughters: Olive, Ivy, Ginny, Queenie,May. Sons: Archie and Ralph. I cannot find them on UK birth registers so assume they were born in SA. It seems at some point part or all of the family returned to Cornwall. Ivy got married in 1909 in St.Germans to William Trahair. The family over here talks of the sisters being here as well, and Ivy was buried in St.Justs. Unfortunately I seem unable to find any more out! Any help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks, Tamar
