Clare / Clare Marriage Cert. Complete

I am looking for a marriage cert for my great-grand parents Peter Crowley and Bridget Haren Crowley of Carncreagh. I am guessing they married around 1887-88. I did contact the Registry Office in Ennis but they sent me a cert for James Crowley and Bridget Haren. I know this is Peter's cousin who also married a Bridget Haren and they married around the same time. I since found out that Peter and Bridget's marriage was not registered??
I contacted the Parish Priest by letter and sending a S.A.E. requesting a check of the parish marriage register...no reply.
