ALICE EDITH WHITE B 1880 m  MICHAEL CUMMINS

If anyone has a connection to this family however remote or any additional information except what can be gleaned from BMD Indexes which I have, I'd be most grateful to hear!

JOHN  WARD  was my great grandfaher's brother and I would love to reunite the families!
Thank you

London and Middlesex / Amy Mary Fairy nee Plampin..
« on: Wednesday 09 October 13 12:23 BST (UK)  »
Hi
Amy Mary died in the June Qtr 1875 Chelsea London. I am wondering if there was a Will/Probate giving a date of death and/or any instructions for the care of her children aged about 6 and 4 years at the time?
Grateful for any assistance.

London and Middlesex / Lewisham Marriage 1873 Mystery?
« on: Monday 07 October 13 12:20 BST (UK)  »
Hi
Wonder if anyone can help me with further info about the Marriage of William Fairy to either Ellen Turner or Mary Ellen Tully Lewisham June Qtr 1873?

I have a William Fairy born 1842 Connington Hunts, Father John.
In 1871 and 1881 he is at home with parents in Connington and was a painter/house painter.

Did he go to London between censii, marry, leave his wife Ellen  & go home again?
Did Ellen Fairy marry again in 1876 and then die in 1877?

I'm trying to find a way to prove all this without buying a lot of certs but as it seems to have happened between censii I can't see the wood for the trees!

Grateful for a new set of eyes!!!

New Zealand Completed Requests / COMPLETED REQUESTS QUERY..
« on: Thursday 29 August 13 03:28 BST (UK)  »
On or about  10 May 2012 I reqested a lookup for an intention to marry. My request is filed in Completed Requests with thanks to ANON.
However the relevant info from ANON is not showing! ??? :'( :'( :'( :'(

May 2012 was the beginning of a very bad time for me and I am well out of touch on how to access ANON's reply - now rather crucial to the family research!
Can anyone help please?
Thanks

Warwickshire / HELP with Baptisms please?
« on: Sunday 11 August 13 11:15 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I have a family of FAIRY, FAIREY, FAREYs lurking in the gardens of
30 Back Blucher St, Birth Feb 1857 - Betsy
49 Back Irving St 1861 -  the family census
47 Back Wrentham  St  Birth Dec 1862 - Elisha

I know George, birth reg'd Dec Qtr 1859 was baptised at St Thomas in the Private Register in Feb 1861 before his death.

Can anyone help  me find the Baptisms of Betsy and Elisha please?
Are the streets mentioned above  likely to mean the Baptisms were likely to be at St Thomas's?
Where are the Baptismal Registers for St Thomas kept?

I know one of the sons married at St Thomas in 1875 so I am assuming the family maintained a link with that Church for many years!
I'd be most grateful for any guidance!
Thanks

United States of America / LUCINDA BOYLE Pennsylvania
« on: Tuesday 02 July 13 23:50 BST (UK)  »
Kia Ora - Greetings from New Zealand.
I notice on Family Search there are a few references to Lucinda Boyle including a ship journey at 12 and some census infromation.
Unfortunately few give much more information than that she was from Ireland!

I am intrigued as I have an earlier Lucinda Boyle, Ireland  in my family tree and wonder if anyone can advise
1. Apart from immigration c. 1849 and later censii what other sources of information might be available?
2. What would a marriage or death cert tell me?

Does anyone have Lucinda ( even as a side shoot) in their family tree please?
Thanks

London and Middlesex / "LONDON STANDARD" 22 Aug 1865
« on: Saturday 29 June 13 12:29 BST (UK)  »
Hello
I understand the London Standard of 22 Aug 1865 may contain an article about SAMUEL MEDDLETON who apparently drowned outside the Govt Depot for Emigration at Stonehouse.

I am hoping someone may be able to locate a copy or transribe the article for me as I think this man may have been shortly to leave England. I can see his death is available but details may be scarce in comparison to the article. ???
Thank you
Dale
