My Toshiba laptop keeps crashing - think it is W10. Is this easily fixed as it is very frustrating.

As I live in Australia I have been sitting on the phone for ages on at least 5 times recently trying to get through to order a certificate.
As they have introduced the 'Real Me' to the online ordering which I dont think is relevant to me I am really frustrated with the waiting times I have experienced.
Are other people having the same problem?

New Zealand Completed Requests / BEst DNA test for NZ Family

My husband's half sister would like to take a DNA test so that we could try and find her father. WE know her mothers side but on the birth cert. it was the usual blank!! for the fathers name.!
As she lives in NZ and the father would have been in NZ in 1931 which test would be the most relevant for her to take.
I know there have been several posts on this topic but I wasnt thinking of getting a test done until today when she agreed to do it. Just point me in the right direction if possible.

I have been advised by Defence Force Archives that my relative travelled to Egypt on either of two ships.
The SS Agitania or SS Johan van Oldenbarnevelt which departed from Wellington on 15th september 1941 and arrived in Port Tewfik Egypt on 19th or 20th October 1941.
They mentioned that the regiment was 7th Reinforcements so I am wondering if anyone else has researched family in this regiment and has found the ship they sailed on for certain.
Just a long shot.

Alderney, Guernsey, Jersey, Sark / Sanders death St Helier circa 1850-1860

I have Edward Sanders living at 58 Pier St St Helier in the 1851 Census but then lose track of him.
He was born 1795 in Hemyock Devon and moved to Jersey around 1840 . He was a Portrait Artist and his wife Mary died in January 1851.
I presume he died between 1851 and 1861 as I cant trace him on a census in 1861.
Is there an online headstone site for St Heliers?
Any help I would be grateful.

I am researching a relative and have his Army records but would like to know a few more details.
He departed for Egypt on 17/2/41 - how can I find out which ship he would have been on
Where did the 2nd NZRF serve overseas - I am not sure what info is required to find this out.
My first research in to this area so I am not sure where to look.
