« on: Thursday 27 May 21 01:48 BST (UK)  »
Hi there, I'm looking to find any info on an Ancestor Robert Ward, B.1748 (approx)  and married to Mary Kelly B.1750.  They had a daughter Mary Ward B.1781 have attached record.  They may have had two sons namely Martin Ward B.1770 married to Joanne Nash...and Edward Ward B.1773 married to Anastasia Molloy/Mulloy.  I have attached record for Mary Ward's Birth 1781 and mother Mary Kelly's Birth in 1750. It appears they were living in Ferns Diocese in Wexford, Ireland. Any help is appreciated.  Cheers Robyn

Hello am looking for some help with McDonald children who came out from Scotland (via England) in 1922, to live at Fairbridge Farm, Pinjarra. I have researched Agnes McDonald but only just found she had two siblings Master William/Willie McDonald and Miss I McDonald. Agnes and Thomas Willis were the first couple to marry at Fairbridge Farm in 1928. Thank you.

Family History Beginners Board / Mary Anne Nowlan
« on: Sunday 16 February 20 16:48 GMT (UK)  »
Hi there,
My great-great grandmother is Mary Ann Nowlan,  B.1816 in Wicklow, Ireland and Baptised 11 Aug 1816. She married John Mannox/Monnox in Goulbourn, NSW in 1839
** Her birth record states parents as James Nowlan and Mary Nowlan. Possibly married in 1808 in Wicklow, Ireland
Am trying to find Mary's maiden name. I had Crawford but don't think that's correct
Mary Ann Nowlan aged 13yrs and her mother 42yrs came to Australia as Convicts. On the documents I read mother was "W" widow???
Mary Nowlan also had two sons who came out as Convicts also same time 1829. The four Nowlans are mentioned in Peter Mayberrys website.
The two sons are James Nowlan B.1809 and John Nowlan B. 1811.
They all arrived around 1829-1830 in Australia.

I cannot find what happened to Husband James Nowlan. Other researchers have him D. 1840 in Canada
I have a James Nolan/Nowlan B.1786 as a Convict in 1819 coming to Australia. (Peter Mayberry List)
Mary Nowlan (Snr) remarried in 1832 soon after as she arrived in Australia
to John English. Hoping this is same Mary Nowlan/Nolan.
Any help would be appreciated.

Family History Beginners Board / Fitzgerald's of Ireland and England
« on: Sunday 19 November 17 00:41 GMT (UK)  »
Hello, am trying to find records for my G.G.G.grandfather Richard Fitzgerald B. abt 1799 who married Catherine Hayes B. abt 1800 in Ireland/England. Catherine's parents were Michael Hayes and Catherine Walsh, as per Death Records in Australia. I cannot find any Birth or Marriages for these families. Think these people were born in Ireland and moved to Middlesex, England, then migrated to Australia around 1850's. Richard and Catherine Fitzgerald had a son Richard Fitzgerald B. abt 1830. I have Richard and Catherine's Death dates in Australia.
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Robyn

Family History Beginners Board / Aprilovic Family
« on: Friday 11 August 17 03:33 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to trace the Ancestors of Marko Aprilovic.  His Serbia Birth Certificate states  born in Split, Croatia in 1881. He died in Sydney,NSW in 1949 no parents listed. His parents on Birth Cert are  Baron Ivan(John) Aprilovic and Baroness Jelacich. Apparently parents died/killed two weeks after his Birth and the Government was left to take care of him. Marko Aprilovic before he died claimed he was the grandson of King Peter 1 of Serbia??? Cannot find the name Äprilovic/Aprilovich outside of Australia. Any help would be appreciated.  Cheers Robyn

Family History Beginners Board / Condran/Conran Families
« on: Wednesday 19 April 17 06:29 BST (UK)  »
Hi there, My great-grandfather Condran, came to Australia as a Convict. His name was Michael Conran, on his Convict papers.  His father was Patrick Conran. So I'm not sure of their original surname. Would it be Condran or Conran?
