Good evening,

Can anyone help with the following please ?
Harriet Yates nee Carmichael is on the 1911 census states she has had 8 children born, 3 living at the time of the census and 5 deceased. We have worked out that she had at least one child before she was married which died. All that we have found are buried in Hedon Road Cemetery.  Her husband was called Robert William Yates. Altogether we have discovered 3 deceased children and are missing 2.
Can anyone help with locating them or have an idea of how to locate them.
The deceased children we have found are
Elsie C Carmichael
Gertrude Yates
James William Yates
Thanks in advance

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Peterson
« on: Saturday 11 May 19 10:52 BST (UK)  »
good morning,

I have recently found out on the 1911 census that my ancestor Ada Peterson Nee Hardacre gave birth to 12 children. On the census it says that at that time 7 were living and 5 were deceased. I know one of the deceased was a boy called Thomas Peterson born abt 1891. How can i find information about the missing 4 deceased children?

regards

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Gladys Edith Hart
« on: Friday 05 April 19 15:17 BST (UK)  »
Good afternoon everyone,
I have recently picked up researching again, I'm after a little bit of help if anyone possibly can?
My Nannas sister Gladys Edith Hart was born in 1905 i think and died in 1921 in The Children's Hospital in Park Street in Hull. I don't know the cause of death but she was 15 at that time. I have found out from the paper that she was buried in Western Cemetery in Feb 1921. Is there such a thing on-line where i could possibly find out if she has/has a headstone at all?
Her parents names were George W Hart and Lily Hart (nee Westmorland).

Also can anyone help with her sisters - Dorothy Alice Hart born 1912 in Hull i have a date of birth of 02/06/1912 but I'm not sure if that's correct. I also have pencilled in a marriage to a Robert Brabbs in 1937 but not certain where that has come from.

Her other sister Frances Ethel is a complete mystery all I have is a possible year of birth which i have as 1915? again not sure if correct.

Any help would be gratefully received.
Thank you for time in reading this

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Arson news article
« on: Monday 16 April 18 22:28 BST (UK)  »
Good evening
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where I will find a news article about a relative of mine (now deceased) ? My father told me years ago that his brother didn't attend my parents wedding as he was in prison for setting a wood yard on fire deliberately. I would have thought that seeing as he went to prison it would have been reported on by the hull daily mail at the time. My parents married in 1971 but I don't know how long my uncle would have been in prison by then. I have googled his name etc but cannot come up with anything. I only had my father's word to go on that this was true, I'm not in a position to contact family about this.

I would be very grateful for any help

Thanks
