I have found the death of one of their children, George David Dacre, tragically killed in a railroad yard accident in Kamloops in June 1935.
I believe there were possibly two or three more children who possibly lived in Port Coquitlam.

Can anybody help with my research into this family or that of WILLIAM HENRY DACRE and FANNY ELIZABETH GAMBLE.

After many years of searching UK records, I have just discovered that my Great Grandfather's two 'missing' brothers went to South Africa.

REV. WILLIAM BRADSHAW - born Derby, England in 1868 - formerly at Kedleston-street Chapel, Derby and then Johannesburg.
- ? went to South Africa around 1890
 
ARTHUR BRADSHAW - born Derby 29 Apr 1880 - went to South Africa with the St John Ambulance Brigade during the Boer War - ? around 1899/1900
- stayed on in South Africa after the Boer War, got a job on the railway and worked himself up to the position of stationmaster.
- later married a Dutch lady, Hester Anna Du Bruyn at Brandfort on 12 Dec 1905, and took over a farm (? near/at Winburg).
- ? may later have married Alice Victoria Eugene Dickason.

Any help as to how I can find out more would be appreciated.

Looking to make contact with any descendant from the marriage of JAMES GROAK and MARY GREEN (nee GREENWOOD) in the Parish of Birstall in 1918.

In researching my own FLANAGAN ancestry I have gathered a fair amount of info on various FLANAGAN families that were living in Dudley from the 1840s and who originated in Ireland.
I am trying to determine how these various families might have been related and I would like to hear from anyone else who is researching and/or has knowledge of FLANAGANs et al in or from Dudley.

Can anyone help me to break down my brick wall ?
I am looking for information to help me find the following -

1) Birth/Baptism of SOPHIA ROGERS - c1782
Sophia married JOHN BRADSHAW at St Mary's Nottingham on 25 October 1803 where they had two children. By 1813 they had moved to Quorndon (John's place of birth) where they raised their family & where Sophia died in January 1849 aged 66. The Census indicates that she was not born in Leicestershire - so where/when ?

2) Birth/Baptism of JOHN SLACK - c1756
John married MARY DEXTER at Belton on 2 July 1786 before moving to Shepshed, where he died in April 1833 aged 76. He presumably was a man of some means as he is listed on the 1823 Shepshed Valuation as occupying a house with area 1p and valuation 14s.0d, but where/when he was born is a mystery.

3) Marriage of EDWARD BROTHERHOOD and ELIZABETH ? - c1744
I have details f the baptisms & burials of various children of Edward and Elizabeth (including my direct ancestor JOHN BROTHERHOOD bapt. 25 March 1750) at Barrow Upon Soar between 1745 and 1765 but their marriage eludes me.

Any help would be appreciated.
