Antrim / White's from Larne/carrickfergus
« on: Sunday 13 May 12 18:16 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for the White family and at a loss as to where to go next?

Minnie (whilemina White) was born in in Feb 1890 in Ballynure, Larne. Her mother is listed as Jane White born approx 1860 - Jane is the daughter of Mary Ann White b approx 1833 in Antrim

I have found them in 1901 census in Carrickfergus and presume that Jane and Mary Anne both die before 1911 as they have vanished.

I can't find any trace of the brothers who live with Minnie nor how they connect to other White's in the area

Can someone help please?

London and Middlesex / Richard Robinson Hackney/Bethnal Green
« on: Saturday 17 January 09 08:51 GMT (UK)  »
I've hit a bit of a brick wall and would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. I have the following info:

Richard Robinson b 1844 (son of Richard Robinson)
married Elizabeth Cutmore 18 Feb 1871 at St James the Great, Bethnal Green

They had 5 children Richard (b1872) Elizabeth (b1873) who married Samuel Catlett Julia (b1876), Henry (b1879) married Ada Dell, George (b1883) all born in Hackney

I know that in 1881 the family lived at 9 Jerusalem gardens, Hackney
and by 1891 the whole family had moved to Dartford - but I can't seem to find anything on Richard Robinson (b 1844) either in records and he is elusive on census returns. :(

« on: Sunday 19 October 08 11:03 BST (UK)  »
Can anyone help me? I am looking for Richard William Lee married to Ann Mary Campbell (or Mary Ann Campbell) in June quarter 1905. They married in Sunderland 10a p 1093. I am guessing they both lived in the local area but I don't know where either were born? I know they were connected to the ship industry. There is a Lee family in 1901 living in St Peters, Monkwearmouth, Sunderland? Are there any other Ricahrd Lee's I have missed or can anyone point me in the right direction? ???

Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Connolly/Connelly from merthyr tydfil
« on: Sunday 19 October 08 10:33 BST (UK)  »
please can someone help :( I am trying to tace the Conolly/Connelly family that originated from Bandon? in Co Cork to Merthyr Tydfil sometime around 1870/1880. I think it was Patrick and Catherine Connolly (b 1846) who had Edward Connelly(b1872), Daniel (b1874) Mary (b1871) and Patrick (b1880) all born in Co Cork. In the 1901 census RG 13/5030 Folio 106 pg 9 they are listed as living at 305 High St Penydarren, Catherine died 27/5/1901 (widow of Patrick). By the time that my direct anscestor married (Daniel Connolly) on 5/2/1910 at the Roman Catholic Church in Dowlais to Elizabeth Morgans he was living at Mayfield Terrace, Penydarren. I have been told that Daniel was a staunch Roman Catholic and worked in the coal mines. My grandfather was born on 3/2/1916 at Warren Hill, Britton Ferry, Neath, he is listed as Edmund Connelly but married as Edward Connolly! ??? where do I start?
