Hi, a friend has asked if i could do a quick search of her fathers family from Ireland. The Family is:
Gen1: Joseph Gillespie married 15/1/1859 to ?
there may have been 6 children to this marriage.
Mary Ann
Oliver
Henry (the grandfather)
Rachael
George
Joseph
Henry Gillespie married Angue (nee George) his address was known as 28 Frank St Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Anges died and the Children were put into an Orphanage. it is thought Henry remarried a woman in Christchurch NZ who also had Children but did not want his Children, Hense them being put into an orphanage. it is not known if they were put into care in Ireland or NZ
The Children of Henry and Angus Gillespie are.
Joseph
Alexander
Martha
Mary Ann (known as minnie)
Oliver ( her dad)
I have tried searching and can only find a Joseph Gillespie married to a Martha Ferguson, but not all the names are mentioned, and i am unsire if this is the right track. It is important to her to find some information of her history as she is unaware if there is any living relations left.
