Hope you can help me out im having trouble finding a place in wales called cwmme ucha which i know was around in the 1700s but can't find on any old maps my ancestors owned a 130 acre farm there any help would be great thanks

 ;) Hi all need your help just recieved my great great death cert, it says body found in headingley leeds 4th april 1981 i wondered if anyone had excess to the yorkshire evening post on that date or the day after im sure it will be there his name was william rowe please help

World War One / Sergeant Major Edward Hillman WW1

Hi can anyone help finding information on this rel please
Edward Henry Hillman b.19 Mar 1889 Croydon Surrey, parents Edward Hillman and Annie White.
He d.31 Mar 1934 Romford Essex.
He was the founder of Hillman Airways and Hillman Coaches

He joined the Army at the age of 12 as a Drummer Boy with the Essex Regiment.He rose to the rank of Sergeant Major in the cavalry during WW1. In

1918 at Mons France, he was trapped for three days beneath his horse and part of his leg had to be amputated and he was invalided out of the Army

with a small gratuity.
In the 1911 Census he was at Farnham Surrey with the Army, 1st Cavalry 19th Hussars.

i can't find anything records from the hospital in 1917

i download my great great grandfathers navy notes of national archives and there's a few things i can't work out can someone help thanks
says badges
looks like a G1 or GI
then a D1 or DI
then a R1 or RI
then under sub ratings under heading rating we have
T.M or I.M date 1899
2 G date 1903
looks like SG red could be SG MD i havent a clue

Can anyone help with this please 1901 census name arthur hood
                                                                           birth 1881 Kent England
                                                                           Residence Royal Navy

is full name was arthur ernest hood born 1881 i know he was in the royal navy from around 1901 to 1914 but i can't find any info on him his father was alfred f hood and mother was martha e b hood think he served on hms grafton and runic i know he was still in the navy in 1910 he saved a life from drowning and was awarded the humane bronze medal any information on him in the navy would be fantastic thanks and good luck

i am trying to make a connection with my hoods this robert hood was a clockmaker and my hoods where clockmakers in dorset aswell so any help would be great i need to get as far back as possible eek  :P
