The Lighter Side / Heir Hunters - Treethorpe
« on: Monday 09 November 20 00:19 GMT (UK)  »
I have been contacted by a firm of heir hunters, Treethorpe Ltd. Does anyone know anything (good or bad) about them?

From other postings, I understand that it is possible to access this from home using some library cards.

Does anyone know if this applies to South Gloucestershire libraries, and if so, how do I do it?

Many thanks

Technical Help / ***COMPLETED**** Infected PC - or not?
« on: Friday 20 January 12 20:04 GMT (UK)  »
I'm running Windows 7 Professional on a Dell Studio XPS

Earlier this evening AVG Internet Security 2012 warned me about CESWORMAX.EXE and I  isolated it to the virus vault.

Now my unregistered copy of Win7 Home Security 2012 tells me that various programs are infected with

Trojan-BNK.win32.Keylogger.gen

and stops them accessing the internet

These infections are not being detected by AVG

Where do I go from here??

A friend has a wooden biscuit barrel given to her father, with the inscription

           Presented to
               H James
                  By
             St-J-C-M-I
      30 September 1908

She knows that he used to coach boys from St Judes Church, Bristol in wrestling and wondered if it was related to this.

Does anyone have any idea what the initials stand for?  We are assuming

St Judes Church M?? I??

If you can help with this, please post on my original thread
