Hi,

I am looking for the burial record of
Robert Mulholland, died 11th. December 1964 in Doncaster (possibly at 227 Wheatley Lane?).
Thanks.

Also is there any local newspaper that might have the death notice in it?  Cant find anything on British Newspaper Archives.

Do you know name of  local Genealogist ?
A couple of them died recently, another has Shingles and is not working.
Or ask Cathriona in Clones Library....

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply.  Not Jack Storey, RIP.  Have the person's name but don't want to put on a public forum.
Is that Cathriona, mentioned in the Obituary Index thread?

Thanks...

Monaghan / Burial Registers Latlurcan Old Graveyard, Monaghan.
« on: Sunday 29 March 20 20:48 BST (UK)  »
Does anyone know if it is possible to look at the burial registers for the Old Laturcan Cemetery?
I have contacted the parish office and they said they didn't hold them, but gave me an individual's name in the Council.  Contacted that person, who gave me the name of a local Genealogist who might be able to help, but who won't reply to an email.  Contact did agree that based on the dates and addresses I was researching that more than likely I was looking at the correct cemetery.
I wrote to the Genealogist, but never received an answer.
Any suggestions?

rathmore - thank you for this.  John Connolly was my Grand Uncle.  Survived after the shooting and lived till 1949.  Never met him as born after that.  Good that the account had his address.  From checking the 1914 voting registers I see that he was living with the widower of his cousin.

Thanks, but that's not the complete list.  Actually had one but now unable to find it.  There were also pictures of the wounded taken in hospitals in the Daily Mirror or other tabloid, again cant find the paper (had the real paper).

Does anyone have, or know where to get, a list of the injured. I am looking in particular to know if one of these two children appeared among the injured, Julia Moore aged about 10 in 1914 or May aged about 9 then.

Interested in John (Jack) Connolly.

Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Re: Death of a sailor in Port Talbot in 1900

He has an entry in the "Deaths at Sea records" Details of his demise are much the same as the newspaper report.
The 1900 logbooks of PORT OF OPORTO official number 62655 may or may not give some information concerning his place of burial.
If the logbooks in question have survived they should be in the National Archives of Ireland. Never visited myself so cannot give advice of the protocol involved to view.

Thanks for this.  Never in the Archives myself, but have a reason now!  Will let you know how I get on.
(Perhaps "burial at sea" was the option taken"?)
