It's probably Guithavon. There is a Guithavon Road further down the hill from Chipping Hill. If you follow the enumerators route he goes in a large circle ending up at Guithavon Road

The National Archives have the will of Isaac Blowers - Gentleman - of Beccles dated 30th Dec 1819. Is that the one you are looking for. It can be downloaded direct from there website for £3.30.

Hi Teresa

I have Blowers in my family tree - marriages through the Calver and Tooke families from Beccles and Lowestoft.

My first name is Jay - which is quite a coincidence.

I don't know how much I can help with the details you are looking for.  I'll have a look around and see if I can find any further snippets of info.

burial of a Thomas Blowers Jay -  son of Thomas and Sarah - infant
Sep 9 1814
baptism - Thomas Blowers Jay - son of Thomas - Gent - and Sarah Thororgate. born 8 Sept

There are other baptisms for the children of Thomas and Sarah Thororgate.
Would you like these as well?

Anc...y records have him being born about 1811-13.

He was put on the Hulk Ship Leviathan on  28 Mar 1839.
It also says he was known as Ephraim Bowler.

He was convicted at Ipswich 15 Mar 1839 of stealing shoes and other articles.
