Thanks for responding to my post. Your right I have just read back the post I put out, blimey it was a bit confusing wasn't it. Please accept my apologies.
Right then! as far as I know he was in the Royal Horse Artillery.  And in the 33rd Brigade, his rank was Private.
Hoping this might make a difference.

I am looking for some infomation on  Mr Frederick Colston Rank Private  who served in the 33 Brigade RHA. from 1914. He lived Bristol at the time of call up.
Anything about the 33rd's part in the WW1 would be of interest and most helpful.

I am trying to find for a dear friend, any infomation at all no matter how small on the family Boylan of Sligo.
Edward Boylan ( Ned)
D.O.B. around 1850-1880. He married twice 2nd wife was a Mary Ellen form Sligo.
Four children
Names: Rosaleen,Kathleen,Agnes and John Christopher Aloysius  Who was born in 1908. And married a Bridgit O'Brien from Killkenny.
Edward had a brother named william, and one sister, Nancy.
