Sorry...couldn't really think of a better title :S
I am literally looking for a name of a man, who died in WW2. I have been set this challenge by my boyfriend's aunt's friend (who lives in Spain). I believe the man in question is her father? - or grandfather. I have been given this information, written on a piece of paper.
Date (of death?): 05/09/1942.
He was on the SS Saga Naga, which sounds pretty unusual...
And then I have the following phrases, which I don't really understand: "Lance Cove", "Bell Island" & "Newfoundland".
So all in all - is there any way that I'm able to put a name to all of this information? It's a bit of an odd request, and even I'm not entirely convinced by it. But everything's worth a go hey!

it's weird, cos albert clark married in egypt, and i imagined for some stupid reason that his service number would have been on the marriage certificate but...no. never simple hey!

is there any way that i can find out more about what he did? like where he fought, how he died etc? might sound a bit morbid but would like to piece it together. plus work out how he got killed in palestine??!!
