Technical Help / Re: Printer doesn't like ink cartridge

To update those of you who were kind enough to offer ideas and solutions, the replacement ink cartridge arrived as promised and the printer accepted it.

I didn't realise before that some cartridges could be faulty and I recommend the suuplier for their prompt response : Premier ink. ( I hope I'm allowed to do that?)

Thank you everyone. I have contacted the supplier (luckily I had the receipt) and they said they are putting a replacement in the post first class with a bag to return the faulty cartridge.

That is good news from a reputable supplier.

Just have to wait and see what the printer says to the replacement!

Very helpful, thank you. I will try the reinstall then if it doesn't work, return the cartridge to where I bought it from. Unfortunately that was online as I couldn't find the cartridge for sale locally.

Yes I have been using this printer for a number of years. I have used compatibles which have worked and some that haven't so I have gone back to genuine Epson.
The printer is Stylus S21. Monkey ink. (Or baboon actually! )

Technical Help / Printer doesn't like ink cartridge

My Epson printer tells me my Epson ink cartridge which I installed only recently is incompatible and I need to install a new one.  This is very annoying as I paid good money for the real thing. Maybe the printer is getting old but I have noticed that ink doesn't last very long.
Any ideas? I have tried taking the cartridge in question out and reinstalling it.
Thanks

They look like two pairs of twins.
And are they wearing mourning?

I thought of a Sunday School outing too, but there is no clergyman in evidence, so I went for the house party idea. I know the landed gentry (which this porch suggests) would often host Sunday School days, and such a day could well be depicted here. Perhaps the Rev took the photo.

Japeflakes, heather grows 20 to 50 centimetres (7.9 to 19.7 in) tall.
They have woody stems that I see in the photo. I could imagine a large house party, having had a ramble over the heather-clad hills, coming back with arms full and posing for a photograph, perhaps at the end of the weekend.
Would have liked to have been a guest, they look a nice bunch.

How about heather? It could be a grand Scottish house.
