I did think i had the right JOHN BUTCHER in my information but you have confirmed it for me. I am in touch with my second cousin once removed living in Australia. His grandfather was HERBERT FREDERIC BUTCHER, Johns brother.

Hi Tricia,
DAISY ANNIE BUTCHER age 23. Witnesses ae A.G.  BUTCHER and HAROLD BUTCHER. They were her brothers who were HAROLD BUTCHER born 1894 and ALBERT GEORGE born1896.

I have now got the marriage certificate  and it does indeed show that DAISY BUTCHER's father JOHN was a cab driver, and that AUSTIN FREDERICK's father EDWARD was a retired law stationer.

I couldn't find him on following censuses for swansea. His wife Hannah is listed as Head of household then married.

Hi Margaret,
I found it on the 1851 Wales Census.
JOSEPH GOODING b abt 1790 OUSBY SUFFOLK ENGLAND, Head. He was living in Swansea at this time.
On the census it looks like OUSBY but may not be that.
