I have just received the birth cert for my biological uncle at the end of the cert it says - ADOPTED- is their anyway I would be able to find out any more info (where he was adopted/by whom etc) the record was for 1947 Paddington, Middlesex.

Any info greatly appreciated

Hi Lostgirl,

My Henry was eventually found....he was born 1868 Maidstone, Kents to William Aldridge & Lavinia Hills, he died in Poplar 1900 aged 32.

good luck in finding your Henry...do you have any other information? which may help in looking for him on 1891 census?

Emily Perry's son,  Frederick Perry is my G Grandfather.....I received his marriage cert to Lillian G Flippance (nee Kent) and father is not mentioned...just a strike through..........(which explains why his mother is down as Spinster to her marriage to James Rudman).........My Grandmother, Emily (another Emily!!!!!) also had 4 illegitimate children....it either runs in the family or it's just that name!!!! :)
