Angus (Forfarshire) / mystery McCord
« on: Tuesday 28 March 06 12:29 BST (UK)  »
I have my mother's first husband and my sisters father as a James McCord b 1909 or 1910 either in Angus or Fife. He married a Emily McIntosh b 1911 then a Jessie Hutcheson or Hutchinson - where can I find information about him? None of the websites I have been to will give me anything on this period..  ::) we cant even give you his parents' names as we have no idea. my sister and i have spent hours on this from overseas and coming up blank. Anyone out there able to help us with this? We would be so grateful for the assistance.

have just found a really old picture that on the back had Fame; would this be short for Euphemia in Scotland????? otherwise i have been thrown another curly loop as I have no idea then, who Fame Alexander is..... it is a real pity that I have all these wonderful old photographs of people that are obviously relatives/ancestors and I have no idea who they are

I have a few photographs actually - one is taken in a black watch kilt - and the other in a uniform, which to me  ;) is rather old..... so I am assuming one is of my grandfather and the other great grandfather.... now if that is the case all i can say is John Culley, b. 1903 and Thomas Culley, b. 1876.
I can scan the photographs if that helps in trying to find out what they are if that will help, as i said, i am really a newby and finding it extremely frustrating yet addictive to find out about my ancestors.
regards
Jacki
