the "private" residences of owton manor lane were built way before those further up the lane as council houses in early 1950's and the "private" residences do not appear in the 1939 and 1945 electoral roll books. as mentioned try durham records office.

by the way, the c1939 new build estate, called seaton lane estate in west hartlepool, came under easington village, county durham, for voting purposes.

1939 electoral roll books are available but owton manor lane and brierton lane may(?) have been in another constituency as the boundary was the traveller's rest in stockton road, west hartlepool

1909 marriage was at a catholic/non conformist church or register office in west hartlepool. remember that hartlepool and west hartlepool were separate entities until amalgamation in 1967.

first marriage at a catholic/non conformist church or register office in west hartlepool. probably catholic church.

second marriage at all saints church, stranton, west hartlepool, on 2 february. church records show her as a widow, aged 24. no marriage announcement in local paper.

there are no reports in the local paper on r s robinson, 1945 or a roll of honour 1 august 1946.
( he of easington colliery - try sunderland echo paper).

born 2 march, 1866.
bapt 31 march 1866.
