Something I had not known before - I understand, from an elderly relative, that Winifred had a daughter Rita who died in Bermuda in 1996. By putting solely the name Rita who died in Bermuda in 1996 in ancestry, a few family trees appear which include some interesting photos https://www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/person/tree/73665660/person/30340942171/facts
However, her mother seems to have been known by the name Henrietta.

Thank you both, for the birth registration and for the probate record. We haven't obtained the will but might have a think about that. Yes, Harriet is by herself in 1939; her remaining son is living in Launceston, Cornwall.

There is a shipping manifest entry for William and Harriett returning to the UK from Bermuda on 6 Nov 1923 on the 'Orbita' which docked at Southampton. The listing is just for them, no other family members under surname Dean.

Thank you for finding that. So sad that their sons Stanley and Alan and daughter Rita had died before then.
I searched for a marriage for Winifred in family search in Bermuda but could not find one.
