All the Bruce names on The 1874 sailing of the Eastern Monarch are one family  Johnathon/ Johanna McGrath ( Bruce).
I have no parent names for Johann McGrath.
Thanks you for all your help Jamjar.

I was thinking Jamjar this could possibly be Johanna's daughter also named Johanna Bruce but born in 1869 who married John McDonald?

Hello Jamjar. Couldn't find anything of being remarried. Yes mentioned place of birth on cemetery record as being "Scotland" but that's all. Thanks Shane

Have a new/old family relative. Johanna McGrath born 1836 (somewhere in Scotland) married Jonathon Bruce from county Offaly Ireland ( Kings County) 16th Feb 1857 aged 21.
The family sailed to New Zealand on the Eastern Monarch on the 7th May 1874.
The only record I have of Johanna Bruce (nee McGrath) is from "Scotland" on the cemetery record here in NZ.
Would anyone be able to tell me where Johanna came from in Scotland. Thank you Shane in NZ.

Yes Hannah was married in NZ aged 24 in 1887 so she was born 1863 and Mary being her older sister.
along with Anne also an older sister all arrived in NZ on the Eastern Monarch 1874. I expect the whole family came to NZ.
Johanna Bruce nee McGrath in my NZ records was born in Scotland.
Thank you so much.

One year later. I have  an autograph of a Seymour Drought born Jan 23 1796 and Jane Drought 1802 nee Hackett his wife from Riverston  County Tipperary. The Hackett's lived in Birr County Offaly. This is through a Shakespeare's Birthday Book I own which once belonged to Dr Thomas Leslie Crooke 1861-1943 (NZ) whose mother was Emily Crooke nee Hackett and father The Rev Milward Crooke of Birr.

Hello I have no record of anyone mentioning a Robert Bruce. Interesting if he was a brother too. Thank you Shane.
