Oh thank you all. these are all very nice restorations and i really appreciate your help...and the correction on the dating. I so value everyone's time and talent being given so freely. You all are my go-to source when i need help bringing these ancestors back to "life". I wish I had your talents, but moine lie elsewhere, LOL!

Thank you for the restoration. And you who commented on the date are absolutely correct. I realized my mistake when I zoomed into the original photo after posting but I could not make an edit at that time. This has to have been sometime before Magdalena died in 1893. She was 45 years old when they immigrated in 1882, so if the dating holds up as suggested it would have been taken in Indiana, not Switzerland.

Thanks "Japeflakes" for the restoration. Very much appreciated!

This couple ultimately immigrated to America. But, I think by their ages, this must have been taken maybe not long after their marriage in 1867. If some would like to try to clean this up a bit and brighten it I would be most grateful. They immigrated in 1882.

Oh thank you all! So much improved! I love being on the "other side of the pond" and submitting things in the evening only to wake up to surprises in the morning! I have some additional shots of this family that can use your professional attention which I will be posting soon as I try to tell this family's story. Many thanks!

I THINK this is a pretty good photo, if the yellow tint could be removed. Please help. Thank you.

This is a very tiny format that i wonder might be enlarged suitable for framing (maybe to a 5x7 size). I know it's not the best because the tops of the heads are not totally visible, but it's all I have. Thanks for any improvement/enlargement you might be able to provide.
