MANY THANKS FOR HELP HAVE MANAGED TO TRACE THE CREGG FAMILY HONOR CREGG WAS THE LADY WHO MICHAEL EGAN MARRIED IN BALLINAMEEN IN 1861 AM HAVING DIFICULTY TRACING THE EGANS THO DONT EVEN NO IF THEY CAME FROM THE SAME AREA THEY WERE CATHOLIC BY THE WAY ?? THE INFO I WAS GIVEN SAYS SHE WAS ONLY 14YRS OLD??? IS THIS POSS MANY THAKS DAVID HULLAH

i have been informed that a michael egan my ggg grandfather was married in ballinameen roscommon how do i go about finding any more information about his family or how he came to this country he lived in bradford yorkshire many thanks david hullah

am having diff tracing my hullahs in felbeck near pately bridge they were in the weaving trade any one any ideas have gone through the parish records at northallerton but the early years are very difficult to read would there be any other records out there eg about the flax mills etc many thanks david hullah

i have the birth cert for my granmother margaret louisa johnson
born in ripon on 21st october 1898 her mother was sarah ann johnson on the birth cert no father name and only other info was that she was a cook domestic residing at the green dishforth as i have no age for this woman i have no idea as how to find out who she was
my grandmother was on the 1901 census living with a william livesey sarah livesey and a margaret pearson i can find no connection with any of these names at can find no record of a sarah ann johnson on the 1901 census that would tally up with my grandmother if any one could point me in the right directiopn  i would be most gratefull many thanks david hullah

thank you all for help nothing has come up as yet to help me understand why and what he was in prison for but i will keep trying am going to bradford achives soon will keep you posted many thanks david hullah

thomas egan was born in bradford in 1871 i no quite a lot about him but what i dont no is how i can find out what he was in prison in armley on the 1891 census for and why on the 1901 census he was in prison on portland if any one can tell me how i can obtain that info  i would be most gratefull

yes he was the same man but again i do not no what he was in prison for and can find no source of information on either conviction he was my great grandfather so it would be great to find some info
