I am in need of some help, with a struggle I have managed to trace back to my great *3 grandfather Arthur Thompson.

The problem is I don't have a Date Of Birth or Date Of Death.  Also I don't know who he married.

The only bit of useful info I have is his son my great *2 grandfather was called John Haynes Thompson born abt 1861 and  died abt 1928 Shankill Belfast City, Co. Antrim.  Hayes may be his mums maiden name but not 100% sure.

I would be grateful if someone could help with solving this problem.

Hi

I am not sure if anyone can help, but I am trying to confirm if my granddad served in the RAF during the 2nd World War and if possible what he did.

My granddad was born in Belfast in 1922.  He married in Cheshire I believe somewhere between 1940 and 1945ish.  This I am not sure on, but I know that they were in Belfast in 1949 because my mum was born in that year.

Any help would be great

Hi Ruth

Amazing i never thought I would find a distant relation.  Rachel's brother Reuben is my GG granddad.  Following the family back from myself to John is seven generations.  I have my family tree on another site if you wish to look.  any info about Rachel's family would be great.

Dave   :) :)
