Kent Lookup Requests / Marriage of Thomas FRY and Elizabeth WELLER
« on: Saturday 01 June 24 19:58 BST (UK)  »
I'm looking for details of the marriage at Speldhurst between Thomas FRY and Elizabeth WELLER in 1750.
Also any information on their children would be great please.

Thank you,
Melbell

"Some people just like big numbers"

So what?  Do they not have every right to pursue numbers if that's what interests them?  It's just a hobby, for goodness' sake.  There aren't any rules.

I agree. If online trees worry people - then don't use them!! There's no obligation..... ;) :)

My grandmother lived opposite to a twitten (phonetic or whatever!) in Sussex. It's a small footpath.

I don't know how it's spelt!

Extraordinary! I've just logged on to the website and it's back again in all its former glory!  ;D :)

I can only suppose that I happened to log on during the few days when the handover to the SFHG was taking place.

Anyway, I'm very happy.

And thank you to bearkat for your timely post.

By 'sticky', do you mean pin 📌 it?

I think it would be good to direct others to the Weald website, but I don't know how, especially as it involves 2 Boards, Kent and Sussex - that's why I put it on the Common Room Board in the first place. (I looked in Help but could find a way).  :( :-[ :-\

Thanks melba_schmelba!

I've now been back to the site, via the Wayback Machine.
I hadn't realised that you can access the records only by clicking on the individual towns, not by using Site Search. (manukarik - please note).

Thank goodness  :)

Please can anyone say what's happened to The Weald website for Kent & Sussex?

I know that the owner is now longer able to maintain it, but it was up and running only two or three days ago. (You can see it on the Wayback Machine, but it's not accessible).
